Horse Rentals
Ride down the sandy beaches of the Pacific Ocean when you rent our beautiful horses. Our guided horse rides are approximately one hour, and we have horses suitable for children and adults, as well as for beginners to advanced riders. Riders must be at least six years old and 48 inches tall, and all riders must weigh 200 pounds or less — only one rider per horse. We are open Saturday and Sunday (weather permitting). Horses are available for $40 per hour. Helmets are available for safety, provided by us, or you can bring your own.
Our excellent guides provide you with all the information you need and guide you down the beach. There you will enjoy the crisp ocean air and views of the spectacular coastline on our friendly horses. As you ride along the Pacific Ocean, you'll enjoy Washington's wildlife—and believe us when we say no two rides are ever the same. Riders often spot whales and seals, as well as a wide variety of birds. Our rentals are perfect for family outings, dates, or just enjoying a pleasant afternoon by the beach. We're located 500 feet from the entrance to Ocean Shores.

Our Guides
Tom is one of our guides. Tom has been riding, training horses, and guiding for more than thirty years. We also have Kim and Tom Jr., who are the ones who help you sign up for your horse ride. We will have pictures up soon to let you get to know us. Our guides will help you as well as point out places of interest and the wildlife. They will be glad to tell you a tale or two on your ride down the beach. Our experienced guides will make your ride on the beach along the Pacific Ocean a lifetime memory.
Horses
Come meet the Chenois Creek Horses. Everyone loves our gentle horses. We have horses for the young horseback rider and for you older riders, experienced riders, and the one that is not so experienced. Come and let us provide you with a fun day at the beach.
Hours
We open at 10 AM, and during the winter months, when the days are short, our last ride goes out at 4:30 pm. We are open on weekends and open on Saturday and Sunday in the fall when the tides are not too high and the rain is not coming down. However, if you have a group coming to the beach and want to ride horses, just email or give us a phone call a day or two before you arrive at Ocean Shores, and we will be glad to accommodate you.
